Just say NO to Peanut Butter!

This is my sweet baby boy......

This is my sweet baby boy on Peanut Butter:-(

*These photos were taken 2 hours AFTER he had been given meds to reduce swelling/hives:-( It was already so much better at this point!

Heartbreaking! I know! One of the scariest nights EVER! Needless to say he won't be sampling peanut butter again. We have an appointment with an allergist in a couple of weeks and will hopefully have a little more information about his allergy to peanuts and any other allergies he might have, but for now we are staying VERY FAR AWAY from peanuts/peanut butter!!!! We are thankful the Lord protected him and his reaction did not become anaphylactic this time. I am now armed with LOTS of Benadryl, EpiPens, and Allergy Alert Tags!

Oh my!! Poor poor baby. That makes me so sad for him. I'm so glad he ended up being okay and I will keep y'all in my prayers. I'm sure that adds some stress to daily life but I'm sure you can handle it like a champ!

OMG!! Bless his little heart!! I guess now you have to read labels on EVERYTHING and ask what things are cooked in - right?

WOW I am so sorry he has the allergy. David my youngest has a severe allergy to peanuts (I just found out a few weeks ago and blogged about it). I now am armed with the Epi pens and allergy alert tags too! We can't even eat peanut butter and then kiss him. Good luck I am starting this journey just like you!
