Bartlett Festival 2008

Last Saturday it was such a beautiful day we thought we would take Macie to the Bartlett Festival. She had a great time. Her favorite part was the shuttle ride from her Poppie's McDonalds to the festival. She also enjoyed all the candy and balloons she got! She had a great time especially since her Nonnie came with us!

Midsouth Fair 2008!

Last Friday morning, Jason and I decided we would have some fun family time and take Macie to the Midsouth Fair. We had loads of fun! Macie's favorite parts were the petting zoo's, where she got to feed and pet the animals. And of course mommy and daddy's favorite part was the YUMMY fair food!! There is nothing better than Pronto Pups and Funnel Cakes! And of course Macie LOVED the Cotton Candy! I was a little disappointed (ok actually a lot disappointed) that the kiddy rides didn't open up until 1:30 and we definitely knew Macie wouldn't last that long since we got there at 10:00, so we settled for the petting zoo's, yummy food, and walking around in the beautiful sunshine! Everyone had a blast!

Harper Haley is Here!!!

One of my dearest friends, Lea, gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL baby boy on Tuesday morning around 11:15 a.m. He weighed in at 7 lbs and 15 oz and was 21 inches long. He has a head full of dark hair and he is absolutely PRECIOUS!!! Lea did such a great job through the whole thing! She is such an incredibly strong women!! She is going to be an AMAZING mother. Just watching her the past two days interact with her new baby boy, it was so evident that she is natural mother at heart and clearly is going to be a wonderful mommy to this sweet baby boy!I'm so proud of her! I love you Lea!

Nausea.... Extreme Exhaustion....Heartburn......

You guessed it! We are PREGNANT!  I am now 9 weeks pregnant and definitely feeling it!  Macie will be a big sister sometime around April 20 and we are so excited! This pregnancy is definitely different than my first one and already proving itself to be full of "all the joys"....code for "miserable pregnancy symptoms"!  Don't get me wrong, the finished product is an AMAZING gift from the Lord, but I have to admit I am probably one of the WORST pregnancy patients out there.  I worry about every little pain or twinge, I wine about every symptom that comes about.....I just don't do pregnancy well!  We are not out of the danger zone yet, as far as the first trimester, so please pray that the Lord continues to keep our little one safe and allows him or her to continue developing strong.  We had an ultrasound done at 7 weeks and the baby looked great, measuring exactly like it should, and we also got to see and hear a strong heartbeat. Praise the Lord!  And of course, also pray for me, that I can make it through these next months without driving those around me, especially Jason, crazy:)
