SO Proud Of My Hubby!

If you didn't know, my sweet hubby, Jason, joined Weight Watchers 6 weeks ago with the pastor of our church, Chris Conlee! I couldn't have been more proud of him! But as much confidence as I have in him, I worried he would struggle with the "points" system. BUT...... over the last 6 weeks he has proved me DEAD WRONG and lost 22 pounds!!! This is HUGE for him!!! He also has taken on a new exercising/muscle training program called P90X! He is at the end of week number 2 and is doing AWESOME! Him and two other guys at church (Chris Conlee and Andy Savage) decided they would start the program and do the workouts during their lunch break at the church office. Accountability is always plus! Apparently this P90X program is SUPER intense and has proved itself to be just that over the first week~from losing his breakfast during one workout, to not being able to lift his fork to eat dinner one night, and struggling to pick up our daughter several days in a row due to being extremely sore .....he has come such a long way in just 2 weeks of the program!!! He is now looking forward to the workouts each day, definitely starting to feel much better and has more energy, and not to mention LOOKING GOOD!!!! I am SO PROUD OF HIM!!!! Way to go Jason! Keep up the good work!

31 Weeks 4 Days!!!

(Image of what our little guy possibly looks like at 32 weeks)-Amazing!

I can not believe we are in the final weeks countdown! Only about 7 1/2 weeks to go and our little Caleb will be here! Things are going smoothly so far. Blood pressure and protein levels are good and no swelling yet! I'm feeling pretty good, compared to Macie's pregnancy at this point where I was on bedrest with high blood pressure, major swelling, high protein levels, and just plain miserable! Of course I am experiencing the expected "joys" of the 3rd trimester: heartburn, not sleeping well, starting to feel really heavy, lots of pressure, getting really exhausted after just taking a shower, peeing ALL the time~the list could go on! But it is ALL worth it for this little guy that we will get to meet very soon!

His room is almost finished and I am wrapping up getting all the necessities ready for our sweet little boy to arrive! I am a planner/organizer so of course it is no surprise that I have already started "packing a bag" for us both:-) It is all really starting to sink in that he will be here soon, considering Macie was born just 3 1/2 weeks from where I am at now! Of course I am not wanting him to arrive that soon, but I would be ok for him to come "a little" earlier than the planned c-section date!

As of right now, the plan is to just WAIT AND SEE and how we deliver. VBAC is an option if I go into labor on my own, he stays in the correct position, blood pressure stays down, and things are progressing quickly, but if I make it to 39 weeks (the week of April 13), then we will go ahead with a scheduled c-section. I just want a safe delivery for myself and Caleb, so whatever that may be, I will take.

Pacie FREE!!!

PRAISE THE LORD!! We have officially been pacie free for one whole week!  And to be honest, it was SO MUCH easier letting go of that thing than I ever thought it would be! Don't get me wrong, she still asks for it every once in a while, and she did have some separation anxiety from it, but overall, she did GREAT! She never lost sleep over it and there weren't any drama induced rages from not having it (as I had anticipated)~ We hope the "babies in the nursery at church" are enjoying their pacie's:-)  Good Bye "Sassy"!!!

Lasagna Pizza Cups!

I am one LOVES a good easy recipe and I found this one in my Southern Living Magazine back in the summer and just got around to making them tonight, but man, they were GOOD!!!! And the best part is they were so easy! Enjoy!

Some alterations I made were instead of ground beef, I used ground turkey.  I did not use as much onion or garlic as it called for, but that is one of those things you have to alter for your liking.  I also used the Pilsbury Buttermilk Biscuits that come in the small can (6 per can).  And last, instead of making 10 of them, I used my 6-hole muffin tin pan and just made 6!
