My Valentine!

If you know my husband, you know what a WONDERFUL man he is, and I am one LUCKY girl that he chose me to be his forever Valentine! He is sensitive, tender-hearted, romantic, humble, generous, an amazing father, hard-working, dedicated, patient, loving, super smart, giving, INCREDIBLY handsome......the list could go on FOREVER......I LOVE this man!

For Valentines this year he surprised me with these beautiful flowers a few days before Valentines Day:

And on Valentines Day I woke up to this:

A super sweet card, and this little box FULL of hand written reasons that he loves me.....IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS!! I give all you ladies permission to be jealous:-) He is amazing!!!! It rocked my world!!!

We also got to have a date night on Friday night while his mom watched the kids (thanks Kay Kay)!! We went to see the movie "Dear John" and then Newks for dinner! I LOVE every minute that I get to spend alone time with my hubby!

I LOVE YOU babe!!!!!

The "Hallmark" Holiday~

I have really never been one that got into "celebrating" Valentines Day, until recently....I think having kids has brought back a lot of the "fun" into each holiday AND I have decided that life is to short not to CELEBRATE the fun times and MAKE MEMORIES that will last a lifetime!! Valentines may be a silly "Hallmark" holiday, but I have decided it can be a fun way to show those special people in your life just how much you care:-)

Making Valentine suckers for her friends at school~
So cute and YUMMY too!
And of course Valentines would not be complete without sweet "valentines" for our friends:-)
Cookies for our teachers!

TaDa! Chocolate Dipped Butter Cookies!

And Valentines Day would not be complete without some tasty Valentine cupcakes!
Check out my food blog for the recipe! They were SO GOOD!

My Latest Indulgence!

As I mentioned in an earlier post, I RARELY spend money on myself. I get a monthly "allowance" but more times than not, I end up spending it on the kids, or extra groceries, but usually not on MYSELF.....BUT I have made a resolution to myself to change that. I deserve to get a few things for myself right?!?!:-) So, with that new resolution I purchased this at TJ Maxx:

Aghhhhh!!! I LOVE it!!! And to be honest it felt SO GOOD to spend that money on myself. Typically, when I do buy something for myself, I take it home, look at it, think about it, start feeling guilty for spending the money on myself, and end up returning it!! This happens ALL the time! Am I am the only one that does that?!?! But NOT THIS TIME! It's MINE and I'm keeping it!

PS: I LOVE TJ Maxx and Marshalls....You can find some SUPER cute things for really good prices!!

LOVES rain days because of these.........

I got these FANTASTIC things from my SWEET hubby for Christmas and I LOVE them!!! They are extremely comfortable and fashionable at the same time! You gotta love a good rainboot when your stomping through the puddles taking the kids into school!
**They do run BIG, so if you consider ordering yourself a pair, I suggest ordering a whole size smaller than what you usually wear!!**
