So, we FINALLY got around to going to the Zoo for the first time as a family about two weeks ago on daddy's day off!! I have been meaning to take Macie since LAST FALL, but due to being pregnant (yes, I am a lazy pregnant person), we didn't get around to it:-) We decided to purchase a membership so we could go anytime! Macie had a great time (except for getting a little sunscreen in her eye which caused about 20 minutes of drama) and Caleb just hung out in the stroller and enjoyed the ride! The weather was perfect~72 degrees and breezy! We couldn't have picked a better day! Macie LOVES animals so this was an exciting day for her! Her favorite animal for the day was the alligator!! We are looking forward to MANY more trips to the Memphis Zoo!
