have consisted of this......
and more of this.......
Yes, that's right, POTTY TRAINING.......ughhh!!! No fun for mama!!! Macie was SO easy to potty train....literally took 2 days and we were done....no pull ups, no accidents at night, no accidents during the day....SUPER EASY!!!! This little boy, a DIFFERENT story!!! We have tried here and there over the last several months, as he seemed interested, but to honest, I was just being LAZY :( and really wasn't pushing the issue.....but with only 3 1/2 months left until Baby Andrew arrives, we MUST make this happen!! He has done great (only a few accidents here and there), BUT he is REFUSING to poop on the potty!!!! And it's driving me INSANE!!! Being the "high controller" that I am, it's so frustrating, because there is NOTHING I can do to make him poo poo on the potty......We have tried using treats, brides, rewards.....you name it, we've tried it.....N.O.T.H.I.N.G. works.....he will just hold it for a couple of days and then end up having an accident in his underwear.....It seriously has worn me out....nothing is more yucky than poop in the underwear! GAG!!!!!...SO any suggestions are appreciated! I have read not to push the issue because it can lead to further regression, constipation, impaction....ect...(lovely huh?!?!) So for now, I'm just going with the flow and hopefully he will get it eventually!!!
Next up......GETTING RID OF THE PACIE!!!!!!!!

May I Introduce Baby.........
"Andrew Kelley Long"
23 Weeks
We FINALLY have a name for our sweet little baby boy! And we are so excited about it! What's even more exciting is that we let Macie name him!! :) She DESPERATELY wanted a baby sister and when we found out the baby was a boy, she was pretty disappointed....BUT since then she has become very excited about her new baby brother and has BEGGED for us to name him Andrew. For what reason we have NO idea! She has no friends named Andrew, so we thought it was kinda funny she liked that name so much. This was not one of the names we had on our list and were considering, but after LOTS of discussion, we decided since she didn't get her "baby sister" we would let her name the baby.....SO Baby Andrew it is!! :) And after even LOTS MORE discussion we decided on "Kelley" for the middle name. We have always given our babies "family" middle names, so it it very special to give our second little boy Jason's middle name, which is also his mother's maiden name. We can't wait to meet you sweet Andrew Kelley Long!!!
23 Weeks~
How Far Along: 23 Weeks
Size of baby: A little over a pound and about 11.5 inches long
Total Weight Gain/Loss: About 10 pounds-I feel like I"m getting HUGE......FAST!!!
Maternity Clothes: Yes, but most of the time you can find me in a pair of pajama/streachy pants and a t-shirt :) I'm trying to make it on the clothes that I have from my previous 2 pregnancies so I don't have to buy anything else! I have purchased a few pair of jeans and a pair of black leggings (because mine from Caleb's pregnancy were to big).......
Gender: Sweet baby BOY! And we FINALLY have a name (separate blog post to come)!
Movement: YES!!!! Lots of movement! :) All the time! Rolls and kicks are getting much harder!
Food Cravings: I just LOVE food.....LOTS of food....this is definitely not good for the weight gain :( My appetite is definitely in overdrive!
What I miss: My energy level.....it's fades quickly after lunch.....I have missed running some too, but I know I'll be back at it soon enough, so the little break is worth it :)
Sleep: Sleep is pretty good. I have to make a lot more potty breaks during the night and it's getting a lot harder to get comfortable and stay comfortable with my "fast growing" belly.
Symptoms: Low energy, frequent potty breaks, some lower back pain in the evenings after going all day, and the Braxton Hicks are really starting to kick in.
Best Moment This Week: Starting to feel more defined movement in my belly! It's amazing how fast those little pokes are turning into rolls and flips!
What I am looking forward to: Our next appointment January 4th! And starting to get the nursery together! We have the bedding, but we need to pick out a paint color, find some curtains, and start painting the furniture (I've convinced the hubby to paint our black baby bed white!!)

A few new things for baby boy......
Overall, I'm not going to need much at all in terms of "new" things for baby boy. When we originally registered/purchased baby items before Macie was born, we went the "gender neutral" route on most of the big items and lucky for us Caleb was born in April as well, so I'm praying we can reuse a lot of his baby clothes/items! But I still want to purchase a few new things for us, I mean baby boy :)
With 3 kiddos (5 and under) I'm going to have my hands full! I'm thinking this should help during the first few months!
The Peanut Shell adjustable sling in the Boho Chic Print! CUTE!!!!
And this new baby item has gotten INCREDIBLE reviews!! Anything that promotes better sleeping in infants is worth a shot! Fisher Price Newborn Rock n' Play Sleeper. **I"m hoping to find one at a consignment sale or Craigslist**
And I've already ordered this ADORABLE little Airplane Newborn Set for his going home outfit! I LOVE Gymboree's layette line! SO soft and cute!! And what's even better is it was on SUPER SALE!!
